The poor people are content to move by the sellers who keep small fishes for sale at comparatively low prices.The fish sellers are very clever people.They generally demand more than double the prices they would ultimately accept for their fishes.

Thus the unwary customers are cheated off and on by the fish sellers.The higgling continually goes on between the buyers and sellers of fishes.This makes the fish market the noisy place in the whole market.The noise in a fish market sometimes becomes deafening.

My collage is a renowned one in the country.It is extended over one hundred acres of land.It has a nice campus.It stands on the river Bhairab.The collage cosists of many buildings.There are separate buildings for arts,science and commerce faculties.

The arts and commerce buildings are on the south side of the collage.The science building is near the arministrative building.the Shaheed Miner is in front of the administrative building.There are seven hostels in the collage campus.All the hostels are situated on the eastern side of the campus.There are four ponds.There are  different kinds of trees on the banks of the ponds.

Trees stand on the way leading of different faculties There are green trees all around the Shaheed Minar.There are many quarters for the teachers and office stuff on the eastern side of the campus.There are a big mosque and a big temple on the campus.The mosque is on the western side of the campus.

In front of the mosque there is a big pond.It is near the arts building.There are a big gymnasium,a big auditorium,a canteen,a building for B.N.C.C and Rover Scouts and a Bank on the campus.In fine my collage campus offers a very nice and attractive view.

The term ‘Global Warming’ refers to the rise in the temperature of planet earth which will bring an end to the mountains old human civilization. The Green house gases including CFC-11 and CFC- 12 make the earth hotter and hotter by absorbing maximum quantity of thermal radiation of the sun.

These gasses permit the rays of the sun to penetrate but don’t let the thermal radiations escape from the earth’s atmosphere once they enter it. This causing what is termed as the Greenhouse effect which is responsible for the increase in the temperature all over the world. The rise in temperature disturbs the rain cycle, the ecological balance, the cycle of seasons etc.

 

 It adversely affects vegetation and agriculture. Thus, we have to face frequent floods and droughts through the world. With the increase in temperature and the melting of glaciers, even snowfall has reduced its occurrence and intensity. The winter temperatures are showing a gradual increase. With the warming of the planet there is also rise in humidity because the rise in temperature has increase the rate of evaporation.

 The local governments should work against the emission of the Greenhouse gages by improving the vehicles, creating awareness among the people, selling environment-friendly appliances; encourage recycling of paper, metal and glass etc. Such efforts are needed by the people at the grass-root level. Only then we can combat this problem in an effective way.

A man who works in his fields or other people’s fields for leading his life and family is called farmer. Generally he lives in a tinny house in the village. He also lives from hand to mouth. He has a small hut of his own or he lives another people house. He is a laborious and strong bodied man. He shifts his labor to others for earning or leading of his life.

 Every day he gets up early in the morning and takes some stale rice or breakfast with stale carry or some vegetables. After completing his meal he goes to his field to grow crops and plants. Though he has no field of his own he works others field like his own and grows much crop. Several times he works from morning to afternoon in the field. Sometimes he works morning to midnight if he cannot complete his daily work or he has much work. 

 

 He gets his wages at the end of his work or at the end of the day. Then he goes to market to buy his daily goods and he returns home. Usually he wears old and dirty cloths. He has no power to buy new clothes for him and his family members. The income of a farmer is not too high to continue his life comfortably and happily. His life is full of sorrow and suffering. When he finds no work at that time he and his family pass their time without eating.

 He lives below poverty line. He looks older than his age. When he is unable to feed his family members properly at that time his wife is bound to work in other houses or institutions as a house made. He and his family lead a sorrowful and miserable life. He has no ambitious and hope. He wants to eat and feed his family normally. As a result they suffer a lot from nutrition and a lot of dieses. 


He is unable to educate his children due to acute poverty and for his illiterate. Above all, an ideal farmer is an asset to the country. He contributes a lot to the economy of the country. So, we should respect him and give him much opportunity to lead his life happily.

Traffic jam is a common affair in the big cities and towns. It is one of the major problems of modern time. The causes of traffic jam are many. In proportion to our population roads have not increased. The roads are all the same.

There are many unlicensed vehicles which should be brought under control. The drivers are not willing to obey the traffic rules. They want to drive at their sweet will. Overtaking tendency also causes traffic ham. The number of traffic police is insufficient. At office time traffic jam is intolerable. It kills our valuable time and our works are hampered. It causes great sufferings to the ambulance carrying dying patients and the fire brigade vehicles. However, this problem can be solved by adopting some measures. Well planned spacious roads should be constructed. One way movement of vehicles should be introduced. Traffic rules should be impost strictly so that the drivers are bound to obey them.

 Sufficient traffic police should be posted on important points. Unlicensed vehicles should be removed. After doing all these things we can hope to have a good traffic system for our easy and comfortable movement.

Tree Plantation means to plant trees in a fixed or different areas to produce wood. The importance of tree plantation can't be ignored any more. Through tree plantation our environment remains balanced properly. Natural calamities can't occur unexpectedly.

Lands would turn into desert place. The rainy season is the best time for plantation of trees. We should take some effective measures to grow them well.

 We should take care of them properly as to the animals or other concerns can't damage them. We can get available trees from any nursery or govt. agriculture department. We can take part in tree plantation campaign. We should make the tree plantation program successful for a better habitat.

Load shedding means the discontinuity of supply of electricity for short or long time. Nowadays it has become a part of our daily life. There are many reasons for load shedding. The insufficient production of electricity is the main reason of it. Misuse and illegal connection of electricity are the other reasons of it. It occurs mostly at night because the demand of electricity is more than in the daytime. The bad effects of load shedding are beyond description.

They sit in the darkness closing their books during the load shedding. They suffer a lot of if it occurs in the time of their examination.

 

The patients also suffer terribly because operation stops in hospitals for load shedding. Load shedding at night also encourages the thieves. 
However, this problem should be solved at any cost. 

The concerned authority must take necessary steps to stop it. More power stations should be established. Illegal connection and system loss should also be stopped. After all, there is no alternative to be conscious about the misuse of electricity.

Dowry System is a common social problem.its harmful for our society.Dowry is the money or property that is demanded by the bridegroom when he marries a bride. The system of dowry has now become a curse to the society. The torture upon the women by men is a very common sight of today. Sometimes the women become a victim of loss of life as a result of the torture by their husbands. 

 The main reason of dowry is negative attitude of the parents of the bridegroom and the lack of education of the bride. The bridegroom takes dowry and the womenfolk become victims of dowry.The dowry system affects the whole society. 

 

 The parents of the bride sell properties and become penniless to fulfill the demand of the bridegroom. Sometimes they cannot keep their word they give before getting their daughters marrying. On the other hand, the bridegroom gets huge property without any efforts. I have the social voice. 


This social curse can be eliminated by making womenfolk educated and self-dependent. The menfolk also should be given proper education to change their attitude.

The day, in which a man is born, is celebrated as birthday to make it memorable. In our country rich people are seen to celebrate this day festively .In this day, the drawing room is beautifully decorated. Friends, relatives, well-wishers are invited on this occasion.

  Weekend means the weekly holiday. In our country, Friday is the weekend. On the weekend, I wake up at 7 o’clock in the morning. Then I take my breakfast and play computer games with my brother. About Jessore District

Jessore is a district in the southwestern region of Bangladesh. It is bordered byIndia to the west, . The district produces a variety of crops year-round. Date-sugar, called patali, is made from the sap of locally grown date trees. It is cooked, thickened and crystallised using a traditional method.

Jessore District had a population of 2,764,547 at the 2011 Census. 85.5% of the population are Muslims, 14.21% are Hindus and the remaining 0.29% practise another religion.

The average literacy rate is 45.2% — very low compared to the rest of the world, but average in Bengal. 41% of males are literate, while only 25.1% of females are. The main occupations are agriculture 39.84%, agricultural labourer 24.13%, wage labourer 2.68%, commerce 11.99%, service 8.66%, industry 1.41%, transport 3.11% and others 8.18%.

Jessore District's administrative framework was established in 1781. It consists of eight Upazilas.

About Satkhira District

Satkhira is a district in south-western Bangladesh and is part of Khulna Division. It lies along the border with West Bengal, India. It is situated on the bank of the Arpangachhia River.
Satkhira District has an area of 3817.29 km². It is bordered to the north by Jessore District, on the south by the Bay of Bengal, to the east by Khulna District, and to the west by 24 Pargana District of West Bengal, India. The annual average maximum temperature reaches 35.5 °C (95.9 °F); and minimum temperature is 12.5 °C (54.5 °F). The annual rainfall is 1710 mm (67 in).

 

The main rivers are the Kopotakhi river across Dorgapur union of Assasuni Upazila, Morichap River, Kholpotua River, Betna River, Raimangal River, Hariabhanga river, Ichamti river, Betrabati River and Kalindi-Jamuna River.

Sundarbans is the largest single block of tidal halophytic mangrove forest in the world and is a World Heritage Site, and covers an area of 5747 km².
The region is home to many ancient buildings and temples such as Sultanpur Shahi Mosque (500 years old). At present the most popular mangrove forest at Kaligonj Upazila is Basjharia Joarar Ban. It is popularly known as the forest of BADHA. The Joarar Ban is the cause of fiction between Bangladesh and Indian border. It is mostly popular for its natural beauty.

Literacy

The average literacy rate for males is 69.7%, and for females 62%.

Educational Institutions

Recently established one medical college, 79 colleges, one primary teachers training institute, 421 high schools, 41 junior high schools, 259 madrassas, 822 government primary schools.

Land ports

Bhomra land Port

• India-Bangladesh (Bhomra land port). 200 yard distant BGP camp from main port. The Bhomra land port is second largest land port in Bangladesh. The Bhomra land customs station was inaugurated in 1996.

  Economy

  Most of the peoples of southern part of Satkhira depend on pisciculture, locally called gher. Main fruits are aam (mango), jaam (blackberry), kathal (jackfruit), kola (banana), pepe (papaya), lichoo (litchi), naarikel (coconut) and peyara (guava). Farms are 86 dairies, 322 poultry farms, 3046 fisheries, 3650 shrimp farms, 66 hatcheries and 1 cattle breeding centre. The main exports are shrimp, paddy, jute, wheat, betel leaf, leather and jute goods.

Jhenaidah is a district in southwestern Bangladesh. It is a part of the khulna District.
